Chris-
Hey, this is Evan. What it sounds like is happening to me is that you are experiencing a common issue with Windows Media Player. There are no really easy solutions, but you can check out 2 sites:
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00467.htm
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0063.mspx

These sites should give you some tips to get you on your way to getting it to work. If neither of these sites can help, the best thing to do would to be to talk to a "techie" type person in your church or to take it to a local computer shop. However, I have had good success with the two sites above, so they should be able to help you out.

Thanks! Have a great day.

Hi Evan,

I'm praying for God to raise up or send your clone to me!!! I'm techno challenged to say the least...

I have a question for you when you have the time...I cannot get microsoft media player downloads to play through my laptop and profector (such as pastor karl's theater)...

Everything else will play powerpoint etc...but anything i try to play through the media player just shows a black screen even on the moniter in the sound booth...

Any thoughts???
